These terms govern your use of the AgentShot website and related services provided by Hormuz Labs. AgentShot’s source-code license separately governs your right to use, copy, modify, and redistribute the software.
Accepting these terms
By accessing agentshot.si, downloading AgentShot, or using infrastructure operated by Hormuz Labs for AgentShot, you agree to these terms. If you use AgentShot for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If local law requires parental or guardian consent, you may use the services only with that consent.
What we provide
Hormuz Labs provides the AgentShot website, software downloads and package repositories, the mobile companion app, update and diagnostic infrastructure, and related documentation. AgentShot is an early-stage video agent and may change substantially. Hormuz Labs also provides AgentShot accounts, plans, the AgentShot gateway, and optional cloud worker coordination. Features may be added, modified, suspended, or removed.
We do not promise that every service will always be available, secure, or error-free. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or protection against abuse.
Software license
AgentShot is licensed, not sold. The Apache License, Version 2.0 included with the software controls your rights to use, copy, modify, create derivative works from, publicly perform or display, and redistribute AgentShot. If these terms conflict with that license about the software, the software license controls.
These terms do not grant rights to Hormuz Labs trademarks, logos, product names, or branding except as allowed by the software license or applicable law.
Your content and projects
You keep your rights in footage, audio, text, prompts, project files, and other material you use with AgentShot. These terms do not transfer ownership of that material to Hormuz Labs.
You are responsible for your content, your edits and exports, and the consequences of publishing or sharing them. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use the material and must comply with privacy, publicity, copyright, and other applicable laws.
AgentShot generally processes projects locally. When you direct AgentShot to use an AI provider or another third-party service, you authorize sending the information needed for that request to the selected service.
Acceptable use
You may not use the services to:
- break the law or violate another person’s rights;
- distribute malware, interfere with the services, bypass security or access controls, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
- overload, scrape, or automate requests against Hormuz Labs infrastructure in a way that disrupts the service or evades documented limits;
- misrepresent your affiliation with Hormuz Labs or use our marks in a way likely to cause confusion; or
- help another person do any of the above.
Nothing in this section limits rights expressly granted by the AgentShot software license.
Third-party services
AgentShot can connect to AI model providers and compatible endpoints chosen by you. The website also links to services such as GitHub and Homebrew. Those services are independent of Hormuz Labs and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for provider accounts, API keys, fees, content rules, and usage limits.
Hormuz Labs is not responsible for third-party services, models, outputs, availability, security, or data handling. Review generated output before relying on or publishing it.
Plans, credits and billing
AgentShot is free to use with your own model keys. Signing in gives you an AgentShot account; an AgentShot plan (Pro or Max, billed monthly or yearly) or a one-time top-up adds credits that pay for models, voice and music through AgentShot’s gateway. Your account, plan and credits are shared with Pitch (trypitch.co): it is one account and one balance in both apps.
- Payment. Prices are in US dollars, plus any tax shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and its terms apply to the payment.
- Renewal. Plans renew automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time in AgentShot under Settings → Keys → AgentShot key → Manage billing; the plan, its model tiers and its credits stay until the end of the period you paid for, and it does not renew.
- Credits. A plan grants its credits at the start of each period (a yearly plan grants the whole year’s at once); top-ups grant theirs when paid. Credits you were granted don’t expire while your account exists, even after a plan ends. Credits have no cash value and can’t be transferred, sold or exchanged. Starter credits and promotional credits may be changed or withdrawn.
- Usage. Credits are used as you use models, voice and music with the AgentShot key; the app shows your balance. Usage prices, including launch discounts, may change; we’ll show current pricing in the app and on agentshot.si, and changes apply to usage after they take effect.
- Price changes. If a plan’s price changes, we’ll tell you at least 30 days ahead, and the new price applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
- Failed payments. If a renewal can’t be charged, the plan is put on hold and ends if payment doesn’t go through; credits already granted stay in your balance.
Refunds
If AgentShot isn’t for you, write to [email protected] within 14 days of a charge (a plan’s first payment, a renewal or a top-up) and we’ll refund it in full, as long as you have used no more than 10% of the credits that charge granted. After 14 days, or once more of those credits have been used, charges aren’t refunded, except where the law requires it.
Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn’t refund the current period. If a fault on our side charges you twice or takes credits for work that failed, we’ll refund the charge or restore the credits. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Dodo Payments; the credits a refunded charge granted are removed. If a payment is disputed or reversed with your bank, we may suspend the plan and the AgentShot key while it’s resolved.
Nothing in these terms limits refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled by the website, the desktop application, and optional diagnostics. By using the services, you acknowledge that policy.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Hormuz Labs disclaims all express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
AgentShot automates editing and can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing edits, exports, model output, commands, and downloaded tools before relying on them. Keep backups of important source material and projects.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you. The software license contains additional disclaimers that apply to the software.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hormuz Labs and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to the services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hormuz Labs’ total liability arising from or related to the services will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid Hormuz Labs for the affected service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits apply regardless of the legal theory and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited. The software license separately controls liability arising from the software.
Suspension and ending use
You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to Hormuz Labs-operated infrastructure if you materially breach these terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the services. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—remain effective.
Changes and disputes
We may update these terms as the services change. We will post the revised terms here and change the effective date. Changes apply prospectively. Continuing to use the services after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
Before filing a claim, you agree to give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally. Any dispute that is not resolved will be handled by a court with lawful jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or procedures that apply where you live.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the software license are the entire agreement for their respective subject matter.
Contact
Questions about these terms can be raised in the AgentShot repository. Do not post confidential information in a public issue; ask for a private contact channel instead.
